A bear called Paddington by Michael Bond was gifted by my aunt as a Christmas gift when I was 5years old. This was my first novel , until then I had read just short stories. Though I started reading this book after a year it took me a few months to complete this book. From then on there was no looking back. My love for books has increased and now I can proudly say I am a voracious reader.

Paddington is a story of a bear who left the Darkest Peru and sailed to England all alone. There he meets the Browns a loving family who take him home and his new life begins there. Since, the Browns meet him in Paddington station they name him Paddington Bear.

Now, he has become the Windsor Garden’s favourite son, because he always does his best to help everyone. When a problem appears he never misses a beat and always finds a way to land on his feet, that’s why he is my favourite character.

Marmalade sandwich is his favourite food and keeps it in his hat in case of emergency. He is curious and speaks his mind. He is one one of a kind.

I would rate this book 5/5.

I love Paddington. He is the best!!!
