My Gemini conversation was working perfectly fine on my laptop. I told it to research on poverty for my project (I definitely did not tell it to structure it in a format such that I could copy it unto Word….) and it replied cheerfully with stats and facts.
Everything was going well. But then my laptop decided it was time to be funny. It ate the conversation and swallowed all the research along with it like a child who gulps medicine they do not want to taste. I refreshed but the refresh button gave up. I had been deserted and I just wish my project deserted me too. But for now, I am stuck in the unidealistic world where Gemini has given up.
So, I decided to revert to my stone age abilities. Well I remember my history teacher saying that back in those days, they did not know how to read. But if they still had completed their homework back then, I must say Gemini must have been existent back then and was probably lost along the way (I bet it was in the bloody wars). Google must have just salvaged them from one of their oil rigs (I am pretty sure they have rigs in the Middle East) and patented it as Google Gemini.
I was at it for a little over 30 seconds but my creativity (ahem…) had also bailed on me. I learnt that my ancestors DNA was part of me somewhere inside, but I guess I am all alone for this one. I feel stranded in a desert albeit everything I required had deserted me and all I was left with was myself!!! Ah!!! The only thing I could salvage from my brain was my finger’s muscle memory to Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. Well, the school never enforced digital detox days seriously and I had resolved to state that as a reason for my teacher should she ask me for my project. Woohoo!
