We might have heard the term “Reading Renaissance” many times before. I for one has heard it a lot. Renaissance is a French word meaning ‘rebirth’ so literally this term mean reading’s rebirth.
Well confused? Reading is proven to have been the key to improve both your memories as well as your skill sets. In a world revolving around technology, it is absolutely essential to keep upskilling in this race against AI taking over our lives.
However, with the introduction of gadgets all around us, our human skills keep going down. And what better way to increase the efficiency of the human mind other than cherishing a book.
Well it has never been easier for a human mind to do this so why don’t we begin now. Hence, here’s a poem on reading exploring it as a seedling to one of a human mind’s best skill: Imagination and Creativity, something that AI can never replicate. So here it goes:
Title: Reading: An Amazing Seedling to Imagination
A salt to life,
A key to less strife
But you might ask,
How is it that it strives to do the task?
Its bronze in itself,
A best harbour’s nest,
An imagination’s arena,
Where there’s no limit to what you can cook up.
There’s various genres and themes in the mix
There’s mystery, fiction and history too.
Spice them up,
With imagination,
To a nation of creativity never explored before.
It’s flag soars up high,
Much more than a high five,
Coz imagination is,
An endless population of everything reading can do to you!
