Bobby Turns Enormous

In a rainforest, a sociable bunny named Bobby was sauntering down the lush green path. He was a gentle bunny who was inquisitive. His inquisitiveness often landed him in trouble. He was always known as an attention seeking mischievous rabbit who called elephant, his best friend. They were the best of friends however due to their differences in height they could not do stuff which they loved doing. Like Bobby loved to scamper but elephant could not. Elephant could not enter Bobby’s house to because of his ginormous body.

Today, he was scampering past an apple tree when he saw a scrumptious looking apple. Without taking a second thought he gobbled the apple. Then the supernatural powers started to work. He started growing, growing, and growing. He grew till he was a big as an elephant. Now, any other creature would have been miserable, but Bobby was elated by this change as he could play with elephant. Bobby now raced to elephant’s house and elephant was astonished to witness the change his friend had undergone.

He was astonished but he was over cloud nine. Or ten or maybe hundred too. They both played for hours and hours. Then it was time for Bobby to go home.

As Bobby darted to his burrow, he found out that he had overgrown the entrance. The wind was whistling, and the clouds turned black, and rain started to pour.

The petrichor the rains brought with it filled his lungs. He was now cold and wet. He started to sob. Then out of the blue an idea struck Bobby. If eating an apple from a tree could make him big then surely it could make him little again. He hobbled because of frostbite and reached the apple tree which had bored the fruit which made him enormous.

He found another apple on the tree, and it looked delectable like the fruit he had consumed earlier. He ate it slowly and then Abracadabra! He turned into his normal size. Bobby never felt more ecstatic than this and raced to his burrow in a flash before anybody could say Bobby.
